Hi all.
Well I’m done and home. Op was on 3rd February and got home yesterday. Monday was a blur. My temperature was very low along with my heart rate, BP and oxygen levels but by the afternoon I was taken off the oxygen. When I came round in recovery I was very stressed as I felt really sick and sore with mega period cramps and backache.…[Read more]

Thanks Mand. I am expecting some bleeding but if you read one of my earlier posts I have had two bad bleeds and it just scares me. I spoke to my consultant about it and he knows my fears so they will take the necessary precautionary steps to make sure it may not happen this time.
5 weeks on Monday!

Thanks for your reply. I am going to ask the hospital at my pre surgery assessment about this. I don’t mind, I just like to be prepared. I’m going privately and the hospital staff are amazing. Since this will be my 6th visit they all know me and I know I’ll get the best of care.
How r u feeling now after your operation.

Thanks.
Don’t worry you haven’t frightened me. I’ve actually watched the procedure on UTube and am totally mesmerised by it all. I’m relatively open minded about everything and I am the kind of person that likes to know exactly what will happen etc. My consultant is impressed by my positive attitude I have had throughout all y treatment and he…[Read more]

Thank you.
Just concerned about this side of it as I had the haemorrhage when I had my eldest and when I had the tvt cut in July I took a bleed the next day which resulted in an emergency call to my consultant and the removal of a blood clot from ‘down below’. So as you can imagine I’m worried.

Thank you for your reply.
All the people I talk to have had really positive comments about it all. Hopefully my experience with be a positive one too.
I can’t help thinking of what I’ll feel like, emotionally, once it’s all done. And once it’s done will all my symptoms, like being able to pee normal, no achy back, no feeling like a tampon has…[Read more]

Hi Julie
Thank you for your reply. And so quickly.
My problems began after having my eldest son (now 15). It was a very difficult birth and should have been a c-section but they left me and I ended up having a failed ventouse, episiotomy and a forceps delivery and then had a postpartum haemorrhage. My 2nd son was easy, but over the last 5…[Read more]
